ATV Services Scotland

ATV Services Scotland Ltd is Scotland's leading specialist in ATVs, UTVs, and utility vehicles. Founded in 1989 by John Yuille Snr, we have grown to become one of the largest suppliers and servicers of utility ATVs in the country, with four depots across Scotland.

We hold franchises for Can-Am, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Iseki — which means we recommend the right machine for the customer's needs, not the most profitable one. We are still owned and operated by the Yuille family.

You will be responsible for preparing both new and used machines to a high standard before they reach our customers — ensuring every vehicle that leaves our Ayr depot reflects the quality our customers expect from ATV Services Scotland.

This is not a heavy diagnostic role — complex fault-finding is handled by our senior technicians. We are looking for someone practical, thorough, and who takes pride in the finished product. No prior ATV or off-road experience is required — full training will be provided.

Ensure all new machines are presented to a high standard ahead of customer collection

Used Vehicle Preparation

Inspect incoming used machines and identify items requiring attention
Carry out minor repairs and fit replacement components as required
Prepare machines cosmetically — cleaning, detailing, and presentation finishing
Liaise with senior technicians where more complex faults are identified
Maintain accurate records of work carried out on each machine

Essential

Practical, hands-on mechanical ability — comfortable working with tools and following technical instructions
Good attention to detail and a high personal standard for finished work
Ability to work methodically through a task list and manage your own time effectively
Comfortable working as part of a busy workshop team
Full UK driving licence

Desirable

Experience in vehicle preparation, mechanical assembly, or a related trade
Background in automotive, agricultural, motorcycle, or plant machinery
Familiarity with PDI processes or manufacturer assembly procedures
NVQ/SVQ or City & Guilds qualification in a relevant mechanical discipline
